About Us

A regional platform built by the Western Balkans Fund to connect NGOs and foster cross-border partnerships.

About the Partnership Hub

The Partnership Hub has been built by the Western Balkans Fund, in the framework of the EU co-funded project "Support to the Promotion of Civil Society Regional Actions in the Western Balkans" (Phase II) (CN 2023/449-078).

It is built with the intention of becoming a one-stop shop that supports the identification of potential partners for regional initiatives, as well as serves as a larger repository providing additional information about all initiatives implemented at the regional level.

Western Balkans Fund

Established in 2017 as a regional organisation with the intention of boosting large-scale cooperation between its six Contracting Parties in the Western Balkans Region.

Our Mission Statement

Promoting regional cooperation is a key component of the EU's policy towards the Western Balkans. The Western Balkans Fund, an international organisation owned by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the region, shares the same goals and values.

The EU and WBF joined forces to co-fund a Regional Grant Scheme tailor-made to benefit civil society and grassroots organisations in the region. The financial support to regional stakeholders is provided through the project "Support to the Promotion of Civil Society Regional Actions in the Western Balkans" (CN 2021/424-879), part of the IPA – Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance package.

Given the important impact of the Scheme in promoting large-scale cooperation and reconciliation, the European Commission and the Western Balkans Fund agreed to extend their cooperation with a second phase of the project (CN 2023/449-078).

This Platform has been built in the framework of this project.

Our Vision

The Western Balkans Fund envisions a region where cooperation replaces division, and where shared prosperity, understanding, and trust become the foundation of lasting peace.

We believe in a Western Balkans fully integrated into the European family — a region driven by innovation, social inclusion, and sustainable development.

Our long-term vision is to transform the Western Balkans into a space where borders no longer separate ideas, people, or opportunities, but instead become points of connection.

Through dialogue, mobility, and partnerships, we aim to cultivate a culture of regional cooperation that directly contributes to European integration and strengthens democratic values, the rule of law, and civic engagement.
